There are many free daily planner downloads out there. Most of them offer spaces for daily routines, menus, to-dos, errands, calls to make, things to purchase, goals, memory verses, notes and places to check water consumed and exercise commenced. But among our very favorites is The Day’s Draft from Ann Voskamp.
Amid the usual to-dos and when, the tasks and notes, are spaces for relationships and ways to maintain them, and thanksgiving. The difference is in the focus.
The accomplishment of a day isn’t so much about accomplishing goals but abiding in God, and this is the thing that needs remembering.
So note the three most pressing needs, the menu, and household tasks. Tick off the things that need to be done daily, and the number of glasses of water drank. And at the end of the day, rest having done what needed to be done in Him.
