Through this world web that connects us all, the homeschool community abounds with those who offer prayers for other homeschool moms, whether they know the details of the request or not. Sure some can rely on their families, churches, and neighbors. But what about that lonely homeschool mom who finds herself without uplifting hands of support. There are hundreds of moms standing by ready to offer up prayers for her needs, as well.
I was blessed with two godly grandmothers whose prayers I am firmly convinced saw me through very uncomfortable and difficult times. Did they tell me they were praying? No. I never thought to ask them. So how did I know they were praying for me? I saw them praying when I was young and knew they prayed for those in our family. But during times of trouble I felt their prayers, and I believe God used them mightily in my life during those times.
God promises that the effective, fervent prayers of the righteous avails much. Take Him at his word. We are blessed with a praying homeschool community. If you are seeking support, know you are not alone.
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
